Owner gave me a cup of curry pumpkin soup, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors of the pumpkin & curry together along with an unexpected perfect amount of heat in it were wonderful! Hands down the best soup I have ever had (sorry mom). I could eat this every day & not be tired of it. Thank you for letting me try it. You guys are awesome!

Absolutely my best find in a long time. I hate uptown because if the one-way streets and parking but this hidden gem makes it all worth the while. Absolutely phenomenal soup, sandwiches, and even better people. Terrance, Renae, and Mario were very friendly and treated us like family. We were laughing and visiting talking like old friends before we left. Love the atmosphere, the over-the-top delicious food, and the unbelievable feeling the world is gonna be ok just from a good hearty meal. Just a good vibe after being there. Will definitely be spending more time with them. Great food, service, and people. Please try their pimento cheese sandwich, tomato basil soup, and oh lord don't forget the pumpkin curry. You just can't go wrong try it all. I know I'm going to!

This was our first time visiting downtown Morganton, and we were looking for a good lunch place. We found it! Both my wife and I had great sandwiches, and the chef gave both of us a free bowl of tomato soup that was delicious. We also came away loving the atmosphere - one that was kind to all the customers. We will come back not only for the good food and atmosphere but also to support such a good business. Thank you!

What a pleasant surprise! I half thought this was going to be just an OK lunch, but it was fantastic! Finding any place with vegan options is always a plus, and for my wife (not vegan) to get what she wants is off the chain! I've had plenty of avocado sandwiches, I make them myself at home, but what really set this one apart was the basil mayo! OMG Batman you hit this one out of the park! My wife loved her chicken salad sandwich and we both had the pasta salad, which was great as well. Service was a little lacking, but it seems everyone is short handed these days, so being able to enjoy sitting outside, we didn't mind that much for the wait, especially since our food was so good! For the Limbertwig Cafe this song comes to mind from my "Love Our Life," album, "Heart of Mine!" It's like they need where my heart was and served up a big heaping dose of pure love and flavor! What a great way to end our day in Morganton!

I love this place. We had lunch there today at our daughters suggestion. She has eaten there several times. We spoke to one of the customers before we ordered and she said she loves the turkey bacon avocado sandwich. We ordered that and the tomato basil soup. It was excellent! The people that work there are very personable and provide great service. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.

We stopped in for lunch on Small Business Saturday since this spot was recommended. I ordered the special (which was a Classic Ruben) and my wife ordered the Hot Fajita Wrap/Tomato Basil soup and we sat down to wait. The chef (who I think is the owner) came out and apologized because he didn't have enough corned beef to make a full sandwich. He offered me any other sandwich on the menu for free. I ordered the Vittorio's Ham Wheat Wrap. My wife was served her meal and they brought me a free cup of soup for my trouble. She loved the food. To my surprise, they brought me a small Classic Ruben sandwich and the Vittorio's Ham Wheat Wrap. I sampled both, and they were very good and well worth the wait. The prices are very reasonable also! Limbertwig Cafe is a great place to grab a bite to eat, and the people there make the restaurant special.

I'll start off by saying this place isn't my typical lunch spot but I wanted to try something new. I got the Appalachian cowboy it came with roast beef, jalapeno jack cheese, onion, lettuce, and roasted red peppers with a side of bbq basil dressing. It was actually fantastic! A nice meaty wrap with all fillings evenly balanced. The bbq basil sauce was also smokey and spicy so tasty! My side was pasta salad (I've never had pasta salad) I thought it was pretty good a little different to me it was plain pasta with a zesty dressing but still fairly tasty. My one thing about this place is everyone was just working diligently and quite lol put some music on and have fun with it. I will be back to try more of these tasty sandwiches!
